How do you clean a synthetic wig?

How do you clean a synthetic wig?

Before you washing / cleaning your wig, we would like to remind you that you should never use standard hair care products which are available in commercial stores. The structure of the fibre can be permanently damaged when these products are used and consequently the longevity can not be guaranteed. Clean your wig regularly, however, do not wash it too often. Depending upon daily use, our recommendation is once per week. Avoid friction and heat.

  1. De-Tangle: Before you wash, be sure to carefully detangle the hair using a wide tooth comb. ...
  2. Wash: Fill a bowl with COLD water (never hot, as heat damages fibres). ...
  3. Rinse: Immerse your wig in a fresh bowl of cold water to remove shampoo. ...
  4. Condition:
  5. Dry: For synthetic hair: Air dry on a folding wig stand
  6. Tip: Gently part the hair with a comb before wig dries then style hair as usual.
